What is a deaf lottery and how to play the deaf lottery?
The purpose of lotteries is not only to make you a millionaire but also to do charities and help people and the community. For this reason lately Sydney-listed lottery provider Jumbo Interactive had signed a new B2B deal with leading Australian charity lottery operator Deaf Services. The five-year agreement will see Deaf Services deploy Jumbo’s Powered By platform to manage lottery sales, and includes a five-year extension option which is subject to certain performance criteria.
The Powered By Jumbo business is going from strength to strength with a third leading charity lottery operator choosing Jumbo and demonstrating the scalability of the business and is another step towards our ‘$1 billion vision’ of $1 billion of lottery tickets sold over their platform.
With three leading charities onboard it provides greater critical mass and input towards further developing the platform to specifically meet charities platform requirements as Jumbo expands the business both domestically and internationally.
It’s not that playing deaf lottery doesn’t offer big prizes. Recently the deaf lottery 182, winner took home $850,000 – The Deaf Lottery’s largest-ever 1st prize. Click here to read more.
Though at Australialottomillions we have already covered this topic but deaf lotteries have made few changes so here’s all that you wish to know about deaf lotteries.
Deaf Services is supported by its fundraising program, The Deaf Lottery Australia. Every ticket purchased supports the delivery of programs empowering the Deaf community to live full and independent lives. In addition to these programs, Deaf Services awards regular grants to members of the Deaf community to help them achieve their personal and professional goals, with funding coming directly from Deaf Lottery ticket purchases.

Deaf Lottery draw and prizes
Each Major Draw is conducted at Deaf Services North (467 Enoggera Road, Alderley QLD 4051) at 11am AEST. It is conducted under strict QLD Government Licence and Victorian and NSW Permit regulations.
An independent Auditor conducts the Major Prize Draws (1st – 5th) to ensure legislative compliance, and all of the draws utilize a government-approved electronic random number generator. The random number generator is separate to their database and its sole purpose is to randomly select a number from a given range which they then use to identify winners. Members of the public are welcome to visit Deaf Services North to watch the Draw.
You can find the deaf lottery results posted on their site’s Winners page, and all winners are contacted by email or phone. Alternatively, you can phone deaf lotteries Customer Service Team on 1800 773 678 to find if you won or not.
Winners have 10 days from the Draw date to advise which Prize Option they wish to take.
When you win Gold Bullion, you have several options:
- Sell all of the Gold Bullion to claim its value in cash
- Sell some of the Gold Bullion for its cash worth and keep the remainder as an investment
- Take possession of the physical Gold Bullion
